Cut boneless, skinless chicken breasts into strips and grilled until crisp on the outside. The breasts are marinated in milk, then seasoned with hot sauce, pickle juice, and other spices. It will take you less than 20 minutes for this meal to prepare and cook. So, no excuses! You are now free to indulge your inner-kid by enjoying some delicious grilled chicken tenders.

What you will need

What do you need to make this dinner possible? You'll need to prepare some other items before you fire up the grill.

Chicken: Use boneless and skinless chicken breasts to cut your chicken strips.

Pickle Juice - A little bit of dillpickle juice can add a wonderful tangy flavor and texture to the marinade.

Milk: I tend to use 1 or 2 percent milk. But, you can use any type of milk.

Hot Sauce: To add some heat to your chicken! If you aren't a fan of spicy food, leave it out.

Spices/Seasoning - Mix kosher, black pepper and garlic powder with celery salt.

How to Grill Chicken Tenders

Let's now get to the actual making of these grilled chicken tenders. This will take very little time, as I already mentioned. You'll first need to cut the chicken. After it has soaked in the marinade, season it. Then, you can put it on the grill.

Slice the chicken into strips and then place them in a large zip-top plastic bag.

Marinade: Place the pickle juice, milk and hot sauce in a sealed bag. Seal the bag by pressing down to combine all ingredients. Then coat chicken. Allow the chicken to marinate at room temperature for two hours.

Season the Chicken. Remove the chicken from the marinade. Mix together salt, pepper, garlic powder and paprika. Sprinkle the seasoning evenly on both sides.

Grill the Chicken. Heat the grill to medium high. Then, cook the tenders on the grill 3 minutes per side.

How Long Does it Take to Grill Chicken?

It can take between 6 and 10 minutes to grill the chicken tenders depending on how hot the grill is. My personal preference is to cook the chicken for between 6 and 7 mins on each side. You can adjust this number to suit your taste. If you decide that the tender is still too pink, don't be afraid to cook it longer.

What is the Internal Temperature for Doneness?

To determine whether your chicken is done, you can check its internal temperature. The chicken should reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit before it is taken off the grill. You can use a meat thermometer to check if the tenders have reached this temperature.
